Original Land Management…..by Nature

At OG Grazers, we have embraced a culture of regenerative grazing practices and selective genetic cross breeding designed to work in cooperation with nature towards a symbiotic balance of soil, forage, water, and animal.

Our mission:

To nurture a thriving, mimimal input, financially prosperous cattle ranch through high density, regenerative grazing practices and selective cross breeding.

Our Vision:

To restore the land to its natural balance of nutrient rich soil and forage in order to provide healthy food and perpetuate a thriving and sustainable environment for future generations.

Since the introduction of Mashona and Boran genetics into our herd, we have experienced a notable improvement in our animals’ abilities to maintain body condition on forage alone.

Healthy and resilient body condition has been shown to be a primary factor in high fertility and calving success. These inherent traits have contributed much to our ability to reduce inputs, ensuring a profitable regenerative grazing model.

“Ultimately the only wealth that can sustain any community, economy, or nation is derived from the photosynthetic process - green plants growing on regenerating soil.”
